Atlanta’s State Farm Arena fifth in ticket sales worldwide in 2021 |


ATLANTA – Earlier this month, industry-leading publication Pollstar released its year-end 2021 ranking for live sports and entertainment venues across the world. State Farm Arena, home of the Atlanta Hawks in the NBA, has won numerous Top 10 rankings and has achieved its best results in multiple categories since 2002.

“We are grateful that our work has been recognized by these cutting-edge publications,” said Trey Feazell, executive vice president of programming for the Atlanta Hawks and State Farm Arena. “As we move into 2022, we’re excited about the many shows we’ve already scheduled and excited to continue working with various tours to bring the biggest entertainment groups to Atlanta.”

Pollstar recently released its ‘2021 End-of-Year Special: The Big Comeback’ in which the post ranked different venues and more in the first full year of concerts and entertainment since the start of the pandemic. State Farm Arena placed fifth (242,304) in worldwide ticket sales in 2021. The award-winning arena also placed seventh in “Top 20 Arenas: Classed by Gross”.

Notable visits already scheduled to make stops at State Farm Arena in the first half of 2022 include:

♦ The cultural tour of the new edition with Charlie Wilson and special guests on February 20

♦ The Eagles’ “Hotel California 2022 Tour” on March 4

♦ Maxwell’s “2022 Night Tour” on March 19th

♦ “Sob Rock 2022 Tour” by John Mayer on April 8 and 9

♦ Journey’s “Freedom Tour 2022” on April 25th.

In 2021, the State Farm Arena hosted various events, including the 2021 NBA All-Star Game on March 7, as well as tours of popular artists such as Kane Brown, Enrique Iglesias, Ricky Martin and Harry Styles.
