Congress is making a “failed attempt” to deceive people by offering guarantees and making false promises, Urban Development Minister Suresh Bhardwaj said speaking to the media here today.

He said that when even Congress workers did not trust party leaders, how would people believe their statements, especially when their leaders made contradictory statements.

Why no free electricity in Chhattisgarh

The BJP government is already giving 125 units of free electricity to people. Why Bhupesh Baghel did not offer free electricity to people in Chhattisgarh which is an energy rich state. —Suresh Bhardwaj, Minister of Urban Development

Bhardwaj said on the one hand opposition leader Mukesh Agnihotri said they will not bow to the central government, on the other hand Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said yesterday that help would be requested from Delhi.

He asked Congress where it would organize the funds for the old pension scheme from and why the old pension scheme had not been reinstated in the Congress-run states of Chhattisgarh and Rajasthan.

He said Congress, which ruled the country for 70 years, was now talking about empowering women. In 2021, the highest number of rape cases in the country was recorded in Rajasthan.

He said Congress Speaker Pratibha Singh described Gudiya’s rape case as a minor incident and MP Vikramaditya Singh used “indecent” language for a Scheduled Caste woman, BJP leader, while the BJP had elevated a tribal woman to the highest post of president in the country. .

Minister says Congress today bragged about being pro-farmer but failed to deliver on promise he made to Rajasthan to waive farmer loans within 10 days of training of the government.
