Degrading state in ‘hell’ under YSRC rule, says Naidu

Hyderabad: Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Chairman and former Chief Minister (CM) N. Chandrababu Naidu expressed concern that attacks, crimes against women, farmer suicides and migration of young people in Andhra Pradesh (AP) saw an increase in April. He said the people of PA are tormented under the current rule of CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Naidu said the state of PA has turned into ‘Narakaandhra Pradesh‘ (Hell State) under the unjust and oppressive rule of CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Addressing a meeting with party leaders, the TDP leader lamented that more than 31 attacks and atrocities against women had taken place in just one month. While more than 26 farmers committed suicide because of their debts. He also said young people are migrating to other states due to a lack of industries and jobs in the PA. He further condemned the attacks against various TDP leaders.

Chandrababu Naidu expressed concern about the state government’s ignorance of the agriculture and employment sectors, and questioned the ineffectiveness of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP ) to create confidence among the population.

The TDP leader then said he was setting up two committees to address issues related to women’s safety and farmer suicides in the PA.
