Here’s your chance to review Patroon Creek Greenway

ALBANY — The proposed route for the Patroon Creek Greenway, connecting Albany’s Hudson River waterfront to Six Mile Waterworks Park and Rensselaer Lake in the Pine Bush Preserve, will be on display beginning Saturday.

The first chance to review the Capital District Transportation Committee’s 8.8-mile route is at the Albany Tulip Festival in Washington Park on Saturday, May 7. A team of consultants will present the route and opportunities for the public to weigh in on a range of gear at the Sustainability Tent.

Other opportunities include the Empire State Plaza Farmer’s Market from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 18 and outside in the garden patio at the Honest Weight Food Co-op from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. 30 on Thursday, May 19. the public presentation is scheduled for Tuesday, May 24 at 6 p.m.

The trail would primarily utilize a currently unused right-of-way and allow neighborhoods to connect to regional work, education and recreation destinations. For more information, visit
