THRISSUR: Three years after the launch of the Prime Minister’s Kisan Samman Nidhi, 36.87 lakh farmers in the state have received Rs 6,413.36 crore in total. Farmers receive Rs. 2,000 every four months, or Rs. 6,000 per year. By distributing the tenth installment from December 2021 to this month, 24.29 lakh people received the full amount.
At the same time, e-KYC must be renewed to continue receiving payments. This process, like the pension pooling, must be completed by March 31. Non-members and Arable Land Holders can apply through Akshaya Kendra, Mobile App, Portal and Krishi Bhavan. There is no stipulated land limit for this.
The applicant must upload their Aadhaar card, bank book (non-cooperative bank), ration card number and current and land tax receipts for 2018-19. These documents must also be submitted to the Krishi Bhavan.
How to update
This can be done based on Aadhaar by clicking on e-KYC option in farmers corner on PM Kisan portal, and biometric authentication at public service center (Akshaya) and mobile phones. On the new page that appears when you click on it, add the Aadhaar number and search. On the next page, enter the phone number associated with the Aadhaar card and click on Get OTP to get the OTP on the mobile phone. The request can be submitted by adding another OTP received afterwards.
