Stumptown Coffee Roasters partners with Oatly to serve the first annual ‘Earth Day Latte’ – with matching donations to support carbon-friendly farming practices

PORTLAND, Oregon., April 20, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Earth Day (April 22, 2022), Stumptown will team up with oatlythe world’s first and largest oat milk company, to serve its first-ever “Earth Day Latte”, a “Rose gold“Flavored latte made with Oatly Oat Milk, Supernature (Stumptown’s new organic coffee blend), rose water and honey, served exclusively in a non-disposable mug or cup.

“This might be the longest lasting latte you’ve ever had,” says Jon Perry, vice president of the Direct-to-Consumer business at Stumptown. “Stumptown has been a proud partner of Oatly since 2018, whether it’s serving their oat milk in all of our cafes or partnering with our line of Cold Brew on-the-go products with Oatly. We’re excited to finally come up with a “signature drink” featuring Oatly as well.”

Since their initial partnership with Oatly in 2018, Stumptown has maintained fixed prices for all milk-based beverages. “Three-quarters of our coffee shop customers order lattes with plant milk,” Perry says. “And we think choosing a plant-based diet shouldn’t cost more.”

The “Earth Day Latte” will be available friday april 22 by sunday april 24 at participating Stumptown stores PortlandLA and NYC (excluding airport and Kyoto Pitches). For every latte sold, Stumptown and Oatly will donate $1 each one has Zero food footprint. As the James Beard Foundation’s 2020 Humanitarian of the Year, Zero Foodprint helps farmers implement regenerative agriculture projects that restore soil biology, which naturally extracts carbon from the atmosphere, restores life to the soil and replenishes nutrients.
