USDA Invests $14.5 Million in Taxpayer Education and Farmer Outreach Efforts | New


INDIANAPOLIS — The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) is investing in two outreach and education efforts for farmers, including those new to farming or who have been historically underserved by USDA programs.

USDA’s Farm Service Agency (FSA) invests $10 million in agriculture-focused taxpayer education as well as $4.5 million in Transition Incentive Program (CRP TIP) outreach the Conservation Reserve Program, which facilitates access to land for beginning and socially disadvantaged farmers. Both of these efforts help advance equity and access in USDA programs and agriculture.
