Meet the farmers of the region

People will again have the opportunity to get to know the farmers of the region.

The second annual BX Farm Tour will take place September 17-18.

The Know Your Farmer, Explore the BX Tour features seven local farms, allowing people to connect with local food, learn about local farmers and how they farm, and explore all that the BX has to offer .

Tours include Curlew Orchard, Indigo Valley Farm, Elderberry Boost Farm, Tiny Terrace Farm, Vanzeal Acres, Wildwood Acres, Brookside Orchards, and Bee-Yotch Honey.
The BX is a rich agricultural region with many walking and hiking trails and is the perfect place to get out and explore your own backyard.

Last year there were specific times for all our farm stalls as well as a virtual tour, but this year each farm has different options, open farm stalls where attendees can stock up on fresh produce of the farm, self-guided and/or organized tours. and farm events.

Check each farm’s unique event map and details online to decide whether to take an hour or a few hours to explore the BX.

Another novelty this year, an event passport with stamps at each of the farms visited.

Stop at all the farms to complete the BX Farm Tour Passport and you’ll be entered to win a harvest basket filled with treats donated by the farmers.
